Course and Curricular Design
If you are thinking about changing the way you teach your course,
we can consult with you on different techniques that will enhance student
learning and still fulfill the intended learning outcomes.
Student Learning Outcomes Assessment
Our consultants will work with you individually or as a
department to create an assessment plan and
determine the best ways to assess student learning outcomes.
Online Course Design
Are you in the process of moving your course to either a blended or
entirely online offering? If so, our consultants can work with you to set up your
GeorgiaView (Vista) course space and help you redesign your course to maximize
student learning.
Workshops and Short Courses
Throughout the semester, we offer workshops and short
courses designed to help you learn about new instructional
techniques. Likewise, if you or your department would like
to schedule a tailored workshop, please contact us to
arrange an offering.
Technology Training
We can help you set up an online class, and use FrontPage for web design
and Wimba for web-conferencing. We also offer faculty support for software
such as Microsoft Office, Digital Measures, and Photoshop.
Multimedia Production
Our consultants would be happy to meet with you to
discuss different ways you can use multimedia in your
courses, be it interactive Flash animations, video, audio,
etc… We also have photographic facilities where we can capture
still images and prepare them for a variety of media.
Scanning & Document Conversion
We can scan your documents and photos, or convert pdf documents
into Word or other formats.
Facilities & Equipment Loan
You can borrow laptops loaded with Camtasia and record your own
voiceovers for PowerPoint presentations, or use the laptops for SPSS or
NVIVO projects. We also loan still/video cameras and audio recording devices.
You’re also welcome to schedule meetings and training in our Training Room
or Conference Room.
